1 lb. / 2 cups / 450 gr. sweet almonds
1/4 lb. / 1/2 cup / 113 gr. almond paste
1 lb. / 2 cups / 450 gr. confectioners sugar
2 egg whites
Directions:
Blanch sweet almonds and dry overnight. Next morning, grind them very fine and mix in the almond paste. Add confectioners sugar, mix and knead to a stiff paste with 2 unbeaten egg whites. Put through pastry tube onto cookie sheet.
Bake at 325°F / 162°C for 15 minutes.
